"Green" way of getting oil/fluid stains off of driveway?

My dad's magic plan of dumping a box of detergent and then rinsing it away with the hose will not make my grass happy!

I have oil and transmission fluid stains on my driveway.

Kittly litter was not effective.

To use kitty little spread a little on the stain.

Get a piece of cardboard,
place cardboard over pile of kittylitter on stain
step on the cardboard
wiggle your foot around
it should make loud scrapping noise.

It will really tear up the cardboard so you'll need a few pieces.

look at Shaklees basic H and Shaklees basic I
they are both effective at removing these stains

Not totally green, but more so than detergent... supposedly a bottle of Coke will do the trick.

grab a spray bottle, pour a whole bottle of peroxide with 1 oz of dr. bronner's magic soap (peppermint). spray and spot clean with a towel that you won't want for personal use, I always keep a few handy. you could scrub with a rough brush before wiping, I know it can help some but not sure if will remove the stain completely since it's oil and probably old but you could try. I spot clean my carpet with this, I love it!!! Even the darkest stain goes away
