Socks

This is a somewhat random question, but my kids love the book Welcome With Love (about a home birth told from the perspective of a young child). We read it every night before going to bed. And the family in the book wears the most beautiful socks.

Inspired by the book, I'd like to get everyone who is present for the birth of our new baby a pair of gorgeous homemade socks to wear during my labor. So I am on the hunt 5 pair of adult socks, three pair of kid socks, and one pair of newborn socks. Do you have any recommendations as to where I can find some online? I know they can be pricey, but babies are only born once, so we've decided to splurge.

Thanks!

If you check out Hyena Cart you can find some beautiful yarns that many of the moms there can knit into beautiful socks for you.

They have awesome socks. I have ordered from them a few times and they were very quick. They don't have a lot of kids socks though

I'd check HyenaCart or Etsy.

WWL is such a sweet book and this sounds like the start of a neat family tradition!

Thanks so much for the recommendations. I'm going to start poking around in earnest, and these are great starting points. I'll post pictures of our socks when I find them. * Jaime
