Omg ow! Baby dropped.

I never dropped with my dd. She was pretty high even during labor.

I've been sitting on the floor sorting out kids clothes and started getting serious ly painful twinges and cramps in my lower parts. After about an hour two I got up and managed to hobble to the bathroom and noticed in the mirror that my belly button is pointing down.

My dh verified that my stomach has moved down a lot since this afternoon. It looks really odd and feels really uncomfortable. I can barely move.

Lol obviously I'm hoping that labor will be happening soon despite the fact that I'm convinced I'll be pregnant forever.

Ooh, I wonder if you're the type to go into labor right after your baby drops. How exciting! Even if it is uncomfortable... I don't think anything about pregnancy is comfortable at this point.

I hear ya. Mine dropped yesterday, much to my surprise! It meant I spent the day hobbling around at work and grimacing a lot. And now my belly wants to peek out from under my shirts.
OH, and FYI...2005 Mustangs are NOT fun to ride in once your baby's dropped! DH and I went into town today and took his car...don't think I'll be riding in it again until this baby is OUT. I swear I felt every teeny pebble and crack we drove over...right in my cervix!

Oh I want my baby to drop! DS never dropped but I'd feel so much better if this baby did.

Lol I don't think I'm want to leave the house again now until baby is out.

I'm really happy about the dropping because despite everything the fact that dd didn't drop and I ended up transferring my homebirth to the hospital just to end up with a c-section really bothers me. I've been holding my breath waiting for baby to drop as a confirmation that it'll fit, silly as that may be.

I think this baby at least semi-dropped yesterday... my hips hurt a LOT more and my bump looks different...

My little bit dropped Thursday. DD didn't drop at all either when they took her at 38 weeks, so I'm hoping it's not much longer. My mw thinks I'll make it to my next appointment, and then we'll go from there.

Well I jumped the gun again. Baby has bounced back up.

I was hoping to not have to go to tomorrow's midwife appointment.

I was taking a pee in the shower yesterday morning...(come on, I can't be the only one), and I swear, SOMETHING dropped!
It was alarming.
I didn't think I would be able to feel it happen like that but I guess the combo of gravity and letting go like that did the trick.
I don't know.
It does feel alot different though.
I have to pee alot more often now, and there's not even that much coming out when I do, it just feels like my bladder's really full.
I also have, like, ligament pain in my lower belly down around my hips.
On the plus side, I had an orange before bed and didn't even wake up once with heartburn!!!
I'm not feeling as much kicking around in the ribs either which is nice.
I hope this baby comes soon.
I'm ready already!!!
