Pooling?

I love pooling. The more crazy, zig-zaggy, asymmetrical, unpredictable the better. I always feel a little disappointed when my yarn makes nice lovely even variegations instead of something more interesting

Why do people dislike this effect? I'm honestly wondering. Since I love it so much I'm trying to get a feel for 'the other side'

i love it too and HATE when i get yarn that does not do it

How funny! I'm getting more used to it, but it still kind of bothers me. I guess I think it looks like I messed up if all the colors pool, even though it doesn't have anything to do with me. I also don't like how it pools differently on the legs. I guess that's what monotone yarn is for!

Can't help ya, sister. I love pooling, too, in all its unpredictable one-of-a-kindness.

I just don't like it when the top and bottom don't pool the same. I don't know why it just looks messy or unfinished to me.

I don't mind pooling, but I don't care for it when I am makeing longies and the top looks so much different then the legs, I love when the colors pool into stripe but are unpredictable because it really is pooling NOT stripping.
