Well, our baby finally arrived on the scene! Her name is Zuzu Marit. She was born into water at home on March 29th at
7:39 a.m. after a super-fast labor (start to finish--including early labor--was 3 hrs. 40 min.)
She was 7 lbs. 6 oz. and 21".
I'm still recovering from some unbelievably intense pushing--only 4 pushes, but I was roaring like a lion and I am currently hardly able to use my groin muscles, inner thigh muscles or stomach muscles, cause I think I totally maxed them out! No tears, though!
Her older brother woke up just in time to see his sister enter the world.
Last night I slept between the two creatures that I created in my body and brought into the world and I was completely amazed, awed, and in love!
Thanks to all the support here! The last few weeks were a little rough, but it was all worth it!
