so what have you done this month?

What activist actions has everyone partaken in over the last month or so?

For some reason I have been fired up lately.
I wrote an email to a local church that is teaching the Christian versions of Babywise.
I wrote all over the formula advertisements in the OBs office. (see my thread in Support and Advocacy).
I offered a new mom support and information on nursing her second child longer than her first.
I signed the petitions from moveon.org for the FCC repeal and the one to urge Congress to withhold all funds for Iraq until Rumsfeld is fired. I also wrote my own little editorial piece on that issue and sent it to all my friends and family regardless of politcal affiliation, and got the surprise of my life when my dad said he agreed with me and would also sign those petitions!

Anyone have some proud activist stuff they'd like to share?

I'm in California so we have alot going on right now. I get MoveOn emails everyday on the recall and have also signed petitions to vote no on the recall, fire Rumsfield and to block the FCC rulings.

I always support breastfeeding when possible and may print out some absentee ballots to bring to my family this weekend and try to talk some sense into them:

Printing out fliers that outline the danger and adverse effects of CIO and placing them all over the place. Some good ones are inside evil books like babywise and baby whisperer or any other with like ideas, sliding them into things like baby books, keepsake boxes, handprint tins, rolling them up and placing them in the leg of jammies etc...

Using each opportunity I get to discuss AP and natural parenting issues with folks.

I like to leave leaflets of why circumcision is un-necessay and just plain wrong inside bathroom stalls. I also leave pro-life literature and AP based stuff as well. Depends on what I have in my bag that day.

I sent in money to buy for tickets to a fundraising event next month

I wrote to my congressman to oppose giving Bush $87 billion with no strings attached

I bought a raffle ticket from my church
