Is this a bad idea? I love the sweater, and I would like to have one in a deep periwinkle with the herringbone in some sort of ... other color...

Am I crazy to knit it with wool?? I just happen to have enough thanks to the last MBOY, and I love the color...

Funny, I just bought No Sheep For You this morning and was looking at that one myself...I don't know if it's crazy to change to wool or not--would you wear something wool and short-sleeved?

Not sure. I guess I might just make it 3/4 or long sleeve to justify the wool.

On Ravelry there are a bunch of people who did it in wool (mostly Malabrigo I think), and some of them did 3/4 or long sleeve. Seems like it has worked out fine!
