I saw a nursing room for the first time ever!!!

So I was with my mom and ds at Concord Mills Outlet in NC and ran ahead of them to use the bathroom. I noticed that they had a sign that said "nursing room" and got all excited and went to check it out. You ahve to get buzzed in and the lady didn't want to let me in because I didn't have a baby, but anyway....there it was, a nice room, small-ish, but it could easily hold 3 or 4 moms and their assorted older kids, with padded cushy benches and dimmed lights. I got all excited about it, especially since I had just gotten through nursing ds at the credit card table in TJMAXX because I didn't know there WAS a nursing room. I'd never seen one before. My mom was SO embarrassed that I nursed him out in the open at tjmaxx (and I didn't use a blanket because he was already sweaty), but anyway....that's my rave! They really do exist! Cool!

Yay! San Francisco Intl Airport has one too. I pumped in there one time. I can NIP but I need a little more privacy for pumping.

Good point and every airport should offer one at least one for working/pumping mamas!

Cool. I nursed at the SFIA recently, but due to the fact that I had three other kids and a husband with me, I just plopped down wherever I happened to be! Good to know it's there though.

The mall we used to go to in Canton has a very nice nursing room, but the mall where we live now has two hard chairs shoved into a dark recessed area of the family restroom (which is always filthy and never gets cleaned). Its amazing how much they can vary.
