Update:
I have had a heckova 3 weeks.
I went to the OB who sent me to physiotherapy, fired and hired a new chiroproctor, and went to accupuncture and ordered the book mothercat talked about in an related post called "relieving pelvic pain"

Physical therapy

first physical therapist was a male and young. He thought I needed to make some abdominal muscles and had me doing modified pilates. As a very plus sized pregnant woman - I was kind of thinking "uhhhh what the heck??" but did it anyway. I woke up at 3 am in so much pain I was sobbing - my husband had to help lift me in and out of bed to use the bathroom

Second physical therapist - mother of 4. Not pleased how the gentleman handled me at all. Wanted to get me out of pain. Stopped all PT and just did massage and ice. I told her I had found this book and I took it to her - she read it and is teaching much of the exercises in it and working with me. I see her 1-2 times a week.

Chriropractor
First chiro - super nice guy - very gentle. Too gentle. Too passive. Kept saying Id be better but I didnt see much.

Second Chiro- Huge family practice - 2-3 people work on you in one session. Very aggressive. Worked on me with a reactor and then someone else manually. Insisted I came twice a day and take time off work. (I am off this week -should have went off last week or the week before but I was stubborn) Had some relief and still in pain but much better.

Accupuncture - had courtenay_e recomended someone to me and I went on Saturday. I am about 98% better. I am actually amazed and greatful. Ill keep going to see him.

I think I have done some damage from limping for so long. The tendons that support my uterus are sore and spasm at night but I can WALK!!!!! I am able to turn around and see whats going on behind me. I can take a shower and get in and out of the tub without pain AND put my socks on.

YAY!
Im off work this week to rest and get it together but oh my goodness - I felt hopeless and helpless. Im doing better and Im greatful.

Dr. Stolmen rocks, does he not? He has almost completely cured my back issues...now I have him working on allergies!

I am so SO glad that your bevy of helpers have gotten you to a place where you feel better! It sounds like you could use some Webster on your belly, though...don't forget to have your new chiro work on that if they aren't already!

Yay team, and good for you Michelle Renee!!!! Be well
