This girl does NOT mess around!

Don't want to steal her thunder so I'll give you guys the basics...

Her water broke at 2:30...babe was born at 5:09!
21.5 inches, 9 lb 13 oz GIRL!
She got a slight tear (big surprise there!) and there was a little meconium in the fluid, otherwise everything looks great! Mom and dad are now going for some skin on skin bonding time, and will most likely stay the night there in the hospital. Their DD and I may drive over there tomorrow to see them...we'll see how it goes!

How exciting! While fast labors are nice, they are often intense. I can't wait to hear the story first hand!
