What's on your registry?

I just started a list at thingsIwant.com and need ideas.

Don't have a registry, but there were a few things we wanted/needed this time around.

1) carseat (chicco keyfit30)
2) boppy travel swing (tiny, portable)
3) jogging stroller (bob duallie)
4) moses basket (bought the basket, my mom's making bedding for it, great for when you want baby close, but not necessarily attached)

Another thought is an outdoor swing for you! My parents bought me one when my son was born 6 years ago and I use it all of the time! In fact, we bought another one for the front yard. This way, I can be outside, watching the kids in comfort while holding/nursing the baby. Definitely get one with a canopy to protect you and baby from the sun (if your yard gets sun).

I don't have a registry, but I did put a lot of things on my Amazon wish list. I have various cloth diapers, some Zutano outfits and a Moby Wrap. I still have a lot of baby stuff from DS, so I don't need too much.

Lets see...i want/registered for...

An arms reach mini co-sleeper

Slings and Wraps

A Britax Carseat *i actually already have this*

A mini portable bassinet with attachable bug netting for on the deck/outside

A boppy pillow and covers. Lots of breastpads and cream.

A pack and play for the grandparents' houses...we intend on getting rid of her once in awhile. lol.

Lots of clothes we won't use. Along with the probably un-necessary stroller, bouncy seat, walker, folding swing crap. I gave the boyfriend the scanning gun at babies r us. don't do that. they go nuts when they realize they can pick AnYtHiNg they want. I actually have 3 un-necessary car seats on the registry. Whatever.

hope that helps a little.

Don't have a registry but I need

A crib (to sidecar to my bed)
Some new crib sheets
Receiving blankets
Sling
NB size sleepers
Cloth wipes
Cloth diapers
Wet bag
Diaper bag
Snappis
Undecided if I need a baby bathtub....I know you don't really need one, but after ds I had back spasms and it was a lot easier to bathe him if I didn't have to lean over.

This is my third baby and I feel weird having a registry, not even having a shower...

I only need a handful of things... well, ok I guess I need everything in BLUE! :P

I don't have a registry and I don't think I'm having any kind of shower but I do want a few things:

double stroller
wrap sling
boppy pillow
nursing stool
BPA free sippy cups/bottles

We're having 2 showers so I went ahead and registered at Babies R Us since I'd rather pick out what we might use rather than getting a bunch of stuff we won't. It's actually rather long but here are some of the basics:

Chicco Infant car seat
Britax Convertible car seat
Arms Reach Co sleeper
Rectal Thermometer
Baby monitor (not sure if I even need this)
Graco pack n play
Highchair
Nursing pillow
Newborn to toddler tub
Baby Bjorn bouncer seat
Some receiving blankets and burp cloths
Humidifier (I actually want this for my bedroom!)
A few books
Some pjs and onsies.

We barely have anything, seeing as this is our first baby, so our self-made registry has lots of stuff in it:

-Books and DVDs
-Prefolds, snappis, a few covers
-Diaper pail/wet bag
-Breast pads
-Nursing pillow
-Bottle set (for DH)
-Breast pump (for later)
-Pouch sling
-Ring sling
-Baby carrier (for DH who doesn't want to wear a sling!)
-bouncy chair thingy
-Tummy tub
-Crib linen
-A few towels
-Thermometer
-Food processor (for home-made baby food)

So far, my folks have already gotten us a crib, matching drawer unit, and they'll be getting the car seat for their car, as well as the stroller. Since they're helping us financially AND throwing the baby shower, I think they've done quite enough.

My MIL has gone baby clothing crazy and keeps sending us really pretty girly baby clothes and blankets from Las Vegas, all of them expensive brand names (CK and the like)...she *says* that things are cheaper in the States and that she has access to outlet malls, but I think she's just making excuses so she can keep buying cute baby stuff

Just make your own. The ones I've seen nowadays are a piddly 28x28 or 30x30". The old-school ones are like 36x36", and much better for swaddling babe. Much better. I'm lucky that I got a bunch of 29yo and 50yo receiving blankets - and half of them even stretch!

I don't have a registry as no one around me cares, and I barely had baby showers with the first two kids (despite us *really* needing a bunch of stuff). So I just have my to-buy list... Like a baby monitor (for when baby's inside sleeping and I'm outside gardening), having my mom modify my mei tai to add a pocket and key/toy loops, another dresser for the boys room because I haven't been able to scrounge one up from relatives, etc.
