at y'all's dddc's. Did I miss something?? I mean, I literally have only been offline a few hours. Life moves too fast for me.

And, speaking of fast, I attempted a tempo run today. One mile warm-up at 10 min/mile pace then 2.5 miles at 8:57 min/mile pace and a one mile cool down at 9:40. I had to do it on the TM thanks to our April showers but I let myself listen to music so that helped.

oh, hmmmm, now I have a wacky ddddc too. April Fool's?

I'm subbing, even tho' I once again fell massively behind last month, and need to catch up on everyone's lives.

I had a dingo dream last night - for some strange reason I was in Atlanta, at a race which I wasn't running in, but ran into 3 of you all, who I recognized by the dingo shirts. All 3 of you were running different races - a marathon, a half, and a 5k.

I walked a whopping 35 minutes yesterday which is a new PR, and felt so good that I ran for 10 secs. It didn't hurt then, but I'm hurting more today, so I guess I'll skip the gym. I'm going to bite the bullet and get an MR Arthrogram of my hip, which I've been hoping to avoid, as it involves a painful shot of contrast dye into the joint. I really need to find a doctor who knows what the hell is wrong with me and can fix it. Now.

We were away on vacation last week - Disneyland and San Diego - whoohoo! Kids had a blast, mom and dad were exhausted. Came home to find 2 packages from my secret sprinter. Thanks so much Kate-mom!!! Tons o' goodies - a candy necklace, Cliff bar, dark chocolate, an adorable sheep measuring tape (which I need because the kids run off with my others), Badger balm for my sore muscles when I get to start running again, and best of all, a beautiful Sigg water bottle! Now I just need to get my last package off to my own ss...

So my run this morning with my babysitters daughter went really well. We did about 3 miles at a 9:26mm pace. Her goal is to be able to do a single 7:00 mm. I think she'll be able to do it pretty easily with just a little work. I plan on having her do a tempo run on friday. My goal is to have her do mile warmup, 1 mile at about an 8:30 pace, rest a couple min and do 1/2 mile at about 8:30 pace again and then cool down a 1/2 mile to mile....

Any ideas of april fools I can play on dh?

Gosh the MP ddddcers have been busy today! I'm glad it's April Fools Day I was suddenly feeling sooo uncool because I wasn't hanging with the in crowd!
<------------ ETA Oops, guess I was!

I just had breakfast with my best friend and it was nice but she kept getting all verklempt, especially when she'd hold her namesake here. I don't know why, I think it has to do with feeling the love from all y'all despite never seeing you IRL, but I'm just not getting misty over leaving here, even leaving my good friends. I feel sort of guilty about it. DH and DD1 are getting all dramatic about missing things and people but I'm not. I'm just bummed because I can't find my darn diva cup!!! Don't even ask how I could lose it, I put it somewhere safe. I just hope it wasn't in one of the boxes of things I donated to the library!

Holy crap. Julia Roberts just joined Ravelry. She has a private profile, though... but still. I love celebs who knit! Okay, so I love EVERYONE who knits, but there you go.. I saw her photo under "new kids" and username JuliaR and I was like "No way.." so I clicked on it, and there is a little blurb about the movie for The Friday Night Knitting Club and that she's happy to be on Ravelry. I didn't even know they were making the book a movie. Too cool!

I really don't think so.. although I doubt it is really her. Her "people" probably had her join so they could promote the movie. But that's fine with me.

Popping on here to say~ good one HBM!!! I was getting really bummed!!

I need to run today....need to get motivated this afternoon...we'll see....

I'm also with the dingo shirt that the neck is too tight. I found a low vneck, but computer was shut down by dh last night before I could post it. I'd like a lighter color too. Is there a poll already?

Love ya ladies!
