OMG! I'm on the email list for the local running store and they got me GOOD! They sent out an email saying there was a big mess up with the Peachtree applications. They said all money already received would be refunded and they would be doing a lottery for the first 45,000 numbers and then an auction for the last 10,000 and you had to be present. I was seriously freaking out. Dh was too and went online to investigate and realized it was an April Fool's joke.

This shirt is cool, and this is the lower vneck I was talking about. Both just for ideas, I know nothing of price/company etc. just looking for a lower/looser neck line.

Megs, for me there are upsides and downsides to working out w/ DH. I enjoy it, but I don't get into that same mental space that I do when I'm alone. On the other hand he is not as much of a distraction as running w/ a friend would be. So, I don't get the benefit of a solo run and I don't get the distraction benefit of a friend run. I like doing weights with him or planking or even TM running at the gym more than running outside w/ him. Now, taking a walk is totally different - love doing that!

Poppy, for signing up for the 10K! It's not my favorite distance but is very nice to do before a half. Oh -- I will PM you soon!

Oh yeah, duh, sitting here with an ice pack on my elevated achilles - just got back from an easy 3.5. minor discomfort at 3 miles. Will heat it tonight. Im starting fresh this month : because i broccoli!!!

Where is the shrubbery comment? I missed that. I am not really into MP, but know enough about it from all of DH's quotes from it.

Just took the puppy for her inaugural walk in the neighborhood to the park. Can you say distracted???? We have to find ways to tire her out more cuz she seems to have hit the terrible twos and we need to direct her energy.

49 posts since this morning!

I would go for a tank or vneck. I'm not very comfy in crewnecks.

I got in four before ds2 woke up. I was shooting for four and a half, but maybe I'll throw in the yoga I should have done yesterday.

Question about weight: I put on a few pounds since I started running more. What's up with that? I am NOT eating more either. Why would this happen?

I heart my BOB-I have the Ironman and love it, love it, love it. My neighbor has the BOB "SUV" kind-forget what its called-we borrowed it once when I had a flat-and hated it-way too bulky-the few pound difference really does make a huge difference. The Ironman has a fixed wheel though-which I think is all about preference-the other one has a swivel wheel. I am debating on whether to drop the money for a double BOB-I can't imagine spending the $-but at the same time-I really don't need anything else besides newborn and small dipes, so maybe its not all that much money in the long run.
