Oh no, poor Caroline!!! It sounds like she had a contact rash and is also getting a cold or has allergies... FYI the Burt's Bees shampoo bars have perfume/fragrance in them. Very bad for eczema. And on a side note, did you know Burt's Bees is owned by Clorox??? I was floored when I learned that :

Happy Birthday Desmond!!

I'm gonna get behind in all these birthday wishes for sure!

Oh and we had crocuses sprouting in our front yard too!!! HURRAY FOR SPRING!!!!!! : We had a TON of snow and it melted in 3 days, unbelievable. The yard isn't exposed to as much snow as the front of the house so it's still covered, but whatever.

Hanno: funny how you know who has who, I had almost forgotten I'm getting something too, I'm so concentrated on the gift I'm giving And I never seem to know when to stop when it comes to these kinds of things... I'm always thinking there's something else I want to add in there.

How sweet!!! Liam loved his stuffed animals when he was younger. I have pictures of him pushing his stuffed moose around in one of those toys strollers Romi has no interest in stuffed anything yet.

Oh and Hanno, for that price difference, I'd suck it up and buy the pink. Can't you make another outfit to cover the pink one? Weird how huge the price difference between the 2 are...

Something totally trivial.....I really want to get Ion a doll for his b-day because he has started doting on stuffed toys like Eva and I'm really anxious for him to be more gentle with babies and animals. what's up with that!?? is there any way you could make new clothes for the pink one? or cover up the pink? that's a very big price difference. but i have to say--get the one you want...you'll be happier in the long run.

that stinks! i'm not surprised though...i read an article about how so many of the organic/natural companies are now owned by large corporations that we'd (or i'd) rather not support. :irk

what!? you have crocuses too? i thought we were suffering through the "same" winters maybe my crocus bulbs died and i'm waiting and waiting for nothing anyone know how long crocuses bloom? my tulips are starting to come up a bit though.

Its funny to hear all the babies hugging and loving dolls and stuffed animals cause its exactly what Caroline's been up to also!! she has claimed one of Hailey's baby dolls and carrys it around ( the video i posted lol) its really neat to see them all up to the same things!

I went to the dr for myself ( for once lol) because i get these chest pains/ pressure that totally ruin my day and are plain horrible i have gotten this for YEARS but i finally went in and she told me it was reflux! i wish i had gone sooner! i think its GERD, i am going to have an upper GI series on monday which i guess will tell me more about it and how to treat it!! yay!!

ok anyway thats all about me for tonight, i am off to bed!!!!
poor caroline! i hope it clears up fast! it may still be from the soap. i'd just use the most simple soaps/detergents etc.

i'm glad you figured out you have reflux and will find some relief soon!

OMG i didn't know that clorox owned them!!!!!! BLAH! i guess i stick with my California baby shampoo for her for now! i did know it had a perfume to the bar i really like the smell tho lol its one of the few smells i like usually i hate all smelly stuff! oh well it got thrown away the other day so no more for us!

I *think* that Clorox's aquisition of Burt's Bees is fairly recent. It seems like I remember reading a thread on here about it a couple (?) of months ago...

Thanks for the birthday wishes and well wishes for the kids. I attribute Scarlet's fever to teething - lots of drooling. Poor Max, I have no idea what his is, as there really have been no other symptoms. Although this morning he has been sneezing more. He was on fire all night. I sure hope it breaks soon. I'm beat. :yawning:

Poor Caroline, hope she's not too itchy.

Scarlet has been hugging her babydoll and a teddy bear lately - it's so cute. Max's favorite when he was a baby was my old Heather doll (Holly Hobbies friend ) She was his best friend - so cute. He still loves the old Holly Hobbie sheets my SIL sent awhile ago.

We do have daffodils and the iris are greening up. Other farm news - our first chick hatched last night! These are from our own eggs, so it's very exciting. Waiting on the others to pop out soon.

kris - love seeing our pics and the pics from the rest of your trip, too. I need to get going on a blog.

We'll be laying low today, so maybe I can get my gifty together.

poor max! do you do herbs at all? catnip or elder flower tea has been great for fevers here...

i love that max loved his heather doll...how sweet!

congrats on your first chick--that is very exciting! we'll need to see pictures.

We had fun at Desmond's birthday party, it was fairly small with only 20 or so people there. My sister came with my parents which I wasn't expecting. It was nice to see her. Didn't see my brother, he was in town, but had to go to his girlfriend's father's wedding, and Desmond's party was out of town.

He got a ton of toys. Speaking of toys I really like my gift from my person and I really will eventually get a picture of it to post, really. The gift for my person is sitting boxed in the living room right now, we didn't have time to stop at the post office yesterday to mail it, I will hopefully have time sometime this week, it is all ready to ship.

Desmond loved his cake and had a lot of fun playing in it and destroying it. I have a ton of pictures that I need to go through so I can post a few, hopefully later today or tomorrow. Other then that it was a nice day and I enjoyed seeing a few of my extended family members.

Here are our birthday pics! Some are of my niece Sydney (You'll see her with $20 bill in her mouth, ew). Abby was opening presents with my mom. She got clothes from Mom, $ from my brother, and toys on the way from my Dad and Stepmom (stacking cups -wooden!). I'm in the pink shirt, hidden...

DH is in two of the ones where he is opening presents, and my Dad is the body behind him in the cake pictures.

Those birthday babies (am I still allowed to use babies??) sure look like they had a great time!

Sophia gets her turn next week.


I should have known better as Sophia usually poops while in her high chair at supper. She didn't tonight, but I didn't think about it.

She has food smashed in her hair (again, like usual) and has some nasty eye boogers too.

I ran the bath water. Popped her in and next thing I know, she is tearing up and grunting. PLOP! Drats. So I run more water.

Then Claire comes in and says she has to pee (we were in a dry underware all day!!!) So I put her in the tub.

Then she cries out. Yep, she pooped in the tub too. So fished more poop out. Drained the water. Ran more.

Is it bedtime yet?
