Maximom- So glad you made it home and the little ones did well. Yesterday I spent a half hour looking for a bunch of missing blocks and I asked Ion where they were. He kept going in the tent and laughing at me until I discovered that the boys hid them in the blankets. I started crying right there! I feel like our 'extended family' is real

Sophia got up during the night for a bottle last night. She hadn't done that for weeks. She is starting to do better with solids. I'm trying to decide when to be done pumping. My supply is slowly dwindling. I'm home alone with the girls this weekend so I know it will be a challenge to find time.

She's signing and talking sooooo much, it's crazy. She took a few steps on her own finally, too. But I think she's destined to be a nerd like her parents-- she's way more verbal than physical .

I can't believe it'll be a year--- so fast and yet what was life before her? ya know?

hey everyone! just a quick hi and then i have to go settle in--we just got home...had to drive to the train in toledo (from detroit) at 2am...crazy 40 mile detour left us so stressed about making the train--but obviously we did--yay!
anyway--
i'll catch up tomorrow!
but man, i totally believed you, anika!! i literally gasped before i scrolled all the way down.

and doudat, i'd love to meet up at the wool fest! geez--if you had a car, i'd meet you half way with some dipes! i can get them shipped to me for 41.00/case (seventh gen)... that'd be worth a little drive to stock you up!

Woo-hoo!!! I've got a fiber partner!! And Liam and Kaylo will have fun together. They could talk cows and stuff. Although Liam will ask me why Kaylo speaks funny and be all confused.

Of course I'll be renting a car, cause I'm not taking the bus with 2 kiddos! So maybe I'd drive further for diapers How sweet of you to offer!!! Sometimes I seriously think I should rent a mailbox on the border just to get stuff for cheaper. Oh well.

hey april mamas,
I haven't posted hardly at all since Ollie's birth 4-12-07, but I did post here and there in the DDC when pregnant. It was pretty cool to read through this post and recognize so many names! I was feeling a little nostalgic and wanted to come see if everyone was still posting.

Oliver is doing so great, and every day I am amazed and completely overflowing with joy that I get to be his mama. I can't believe he's almost 1! It makes me so weepy.

Thanks for the welcome, yall!

Praetorian (Tor) is my only child (so far!) and a very sweet, chunky, spirited boy! He was born at home April 27th last year. I mostly stay at home with him (I work on the occasional night or weekend).

Tor loves 'reading', playing with toys, touching things he isn't supposed to be touching, cruising on all the furniture, eating, nursing, using his little potty, playing with his friends from church and playgroups, opening and shutting doors and cabinets, and being tickled by his daddy.
