Romi had weird poopy diapers and was slept worse than ever on sunday night. Monday morning we checked and felt something sharp in her mouth. Yep, a tooth is finally poking out

On a sadder note, she went to daycare yesterday. Ok, it was for an hour and I was there with her the whole time, but still. I start work on the 14th so I'm gently letting her get used to the new environment. But I hated every minute of it I felt out of place, she was fine of course. But she'll be the youngest in the group by 3 months, so it'll be hard for her to really follow the activities. And they don't cloth diaper. Which sucks cause I had to shell out 134$ for 2 cases of Seventh Generation diapers. Which won't even last a month. :
I just felt bad being there. I'm not gonna go today or tomorrow (I'll tell them she's feeling under the weather) and I'll go again friday. I wish I could stay home another year.
i'm sorry it was so hard for you...but i'm glad that she was alright.

Quick update-
I just spent the night in the hospital with Arlo
He has a chest infection which has triggered some asthma. (dp has asthma)
So now he is on puffers. He is feeling better today, but it was a scary night.
I'll post more later when we've had some rest.

Oh, no, poor Arlo!

My husband's asthma developed around this age. :/ I can't remember when my brother's started. He's had it as long as I can remember.

Ronan is napping. He's been asleep for two hours. I'm tempted to wake him up, but he hardly had a nap earlier. He slept in til nearly 930am, too, which was luxurious for me. He's teething (two more up top, at least) and getting over a cold. I guess dinner can wait.

It's raining out, though, so maybe I should put on a light. The dimness in here probably isn't conducive to waking up.

Thanks! DH was supposed to be out of town until ~9 pm last night, but he came back early!!! We all cuddled Abby... Today we went shopping for her B-Day presents! We went to the book store. Ari picked out Bear Snores On and Brown Bear Brown Bear What Do You See?, Abby picked out a cloth ladybug book for herself (she liked the plastic container it came in - hich she is now playing with) and Chuck and I picked out a Taggie book called Princess. We have a joint B-Day party for Abby and her newly-13 cousin Sydney on Saturday night. Should be fun!

Feel better Arlo! Ari has asthma and is often on "breathing medicine" (the nebulizer) in the winter, so we know the frustration...

oh! I forgot to post, but April 1 she learned how to slide! She crawls to the slide and just pushes herself down, laughing and hoping no one will be at the bottom to catch her, so she can lean over and grab wood chips and stuff them in her mouth

It is SO cute!

It took forever for Ari to go down w/o me right there, so it surprises me how daring Abby is... up the steps at home and now just throwing herself down the slide. It is adorable!
