I Filled a water balloon and put it in my underwear! I was standing at the counter making lunch for DH and he came in the room. I tried squeezing my legs together but it wouldnt pop! I had to reach behind me and pop it with my fingers. Dh started yelling "OH MY GOD HONEY, I CANT BELIEVE IT!!!". He almost died when i said "APRIL FOOLS". :::

That's the funniest thing I've read in a while. Good for you; I don't have a good enough imagination to come up with something like that!

OMG the more I visualize it in my head, the more I feel compelled beyond my will to do it. I'm taping a tack to my leg though so it will pop on it's own.

Ok, that's it, off to the store to get some water balloons.

absolutely brilliant.

Ok. Have I taken it much to far by considering putting a couple of drops of food coloring in to make it more realistic? Hubby wouldn't know the difference anyway since he has no experience with amniotic fluid, but it might draw fewer April Fools day doubts than plain water...

Am I totally evil for seriously considering this?

OMG, I haven't laughed this hard in WEEKS!!!!
If only my DH hadn't been here when I read it, so I had half a chance to play it on him. LMAO!!!

Oohhh, you got him good. He won't soon forget this, which could be unfortunate for you...lol...

That is pretty crafty! I love it.

That is some serious commitment to a prank!!! LOVE IT!!!

LOL!!! My poor anxious DH would probably hyperventilate on the spot. I don't think I can do it to him!

I dont think the food coloring would make it any more convincing. Unless you have white floors and you want to keep him going for a long time. You must let us know his reaction!!!

Haha that's better than mine -

I called DH at work to tell him my water broke and my contractions were four minutes apart.

He yells into the phone, "Are you SHITTING ME!?!?" and hangs up, then rushes around his office getting his things together to come home.

Then calls me back to ask if I'm sure my water broke, I say, "Um, yeah, there's no doubt about it." And listen as he gets all worked up, then bust out laughing when I can't contain it anymore. He didn't think it was very funny....

Oh - I have been SO TEMPTED to pull something on DH but I think since I have to have a c-section AND because he has to go out of town for a really important interview on Thursday he just wouldn't be able to handle it. But your water balloon trick - so funny!
