Yeowie! Baby dropping in OP onto sciatic nerve

help!

When I told my chiro yesterday that I wasn't worried about this baby settling into my pelvis in OP because I had survived a back labor before...

I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT I WAS SAYING.

That was eight years ago. A long time to forget how bad it hurt. I remember now. I'm having the same BH contrax, but with the baby lower and in OP, THESE HURT. All the way down my leg.

I have been doing pelvic tilts, sitting on birth ball, got in the birth tub on hands & knees, and now I'm worried. My first was OP, my second was mostly OT until she turned to OA in the second stage, and I'm thinking that my pelvis could be shaped in a way that my babies don't fit OA easily.

I sure hope that all these BH are adding up to something, like a FAST LABOR.

SIGH. Ow. Wahhhhhhhh

I really hope your baby rotates for you before or when you go into labor. I have no desire to experience back labor, ever. I think dd was LOA and so is this one and dd's labor was really nice.

Both of my babies spent a lot of time OP and this baby is looking to do the same. So far I've been lucky that they have rotated just before or during labor. With #2 I spent a lot of time doing hip rotations on the birth ball. My mf also recommended leaning forward with a straight back when sitting. It's an uncomfortable position for an OP baby to be in, and might cause the baby to turn. Good luck!
