And I am scared he will lose them. He has two close close friends that he does stuff with all the time. If they plan something(like going skating) he will call them about 20 times until they go. Calling them and saying "you ready yet? you ready to go? what you guys doing" etc. I know they get annoyed with him for it becuase they have asked him not to do it, I have talked with him about it. I dont want him to lose the friends. How can I help him?

This book feels good in your hands. The paper is heavyweight, and the illustrations flow perfectly.

Can you get him involved with some activity while he waits? What did he say when you talked to him about it?

Is this the only type of annoying behavior? I mean, specifically that he "hovers" or wants to connect before getting together? Or just one example of many?
And yeah, did he say why he does that?

How old is he? my 9yo will sometimes continue to call her friends back if they don't answer the phone & I've had to tell her enough, to put the phone down & not touch it. Even though her friends aren't home it drives me nuts.lol
If he is actually in his teen years I'd remind him that his friends find this behaviour annoying, that they've told him to stop. If he continues to do it that he's most likely going to tick them off & the natural consequence to that is he is going to lose them as friends. Then let it go & he can deal with it.
