What causes women to spill protein in their urine?

I was hoping some of the birth professionals (and other birth savvy people) could give me some insight to what makes protein appear in the urine...

I have started spilling at 32 weeks. I don't have itching, swelling, and my blood pressure is pretty low (110/60) and has been about the same my whole pregnancy. I've been eating well and getting 80-100 grams of protein daily. Pre-e seems unlikely from what I can find on it.

What else would make me spill protein? How do I make it better?

All I can find is some information about the kidneys trying to process too much protein.

The most common cause is dehydration. It doesn't mean there is anything wrong.

I had that problem with my last pregnancy and I never had elevated blood pressure. I was never given an explanation but dehydration makes since to me because I never drank enough water and my pee was very orange in those cups when they tested it.
