Cross your fingers!!!

So about 30 mins ago I'm starting dinner... Getting ready to fill the pot with water to make noodles... Then BAM! Run to the bathroom... I finish up in there... go back to making dinner... I'm browning the turkey... then BAM! run to the bathroom and throw up this time.... Humm... could it be?

Or is it just my body playing an April Fools joke on me? I've been having contractions all day... but I've not paid any attention to them because... well you know they all have been fake.

So cross your fingers that this is the start of REAL labor!

Crossing my fingers for you!

I have been having my regular braxton hicks more often than normal today and they are accompanied by a dull back ache. I timed them for a bit 6-8 minutes apart and then ignored them to go to my midwife appt for the same reason; I'm sure they are fake. They don't hurt like the false labor I had at Easter. Two of my three midwives are at births so I was told I can't be in labor yet, but the midwife was giving me funny looks while I was having contractions at the office.

I'm sure it's definitely an April Fool's joke for me.

Yeah I've been having the dull back ache for a while now...

I think it was just a fluke at this point... I just ate dinner and my tummy seems better. I guess we'll see. This is worse than waiting for Christmas as a child.

Lmao. I know it's ridiculous. I'm way more impatient this time around. It's just so annoying to be having contractions that aren't labor. I think I'm going to let my house get really messy and empty out the fridge so that I'm unprepared and then maybe I'll go into labor.

Haha... Limette, your AFD tag was sooo appropriate to that post! ;-)

Seriously, I think I'm working so hard at ignoring whatever goes on with my body and dismissing it as "not in labor" that unless I get a big splooshy bag-o-waters on the floor, I will end up pushing before I believe this baby is on the way! I can hope, anyway, right?

That's what I'm hoping for. In the book "The Baby Catcher" the author Peggy Vincent had a painful first labor and then with her second didn't even realize she was complete because her contractions were relatively painless and sporadic. It's not impossible.

Maybe they will pick up again tonight! After April Fool's is over so you know they aren't "fake" lol. The last night and day I have been having fake contractions that make me run for the potty. I wake up from them. Ugh, I'm not ready. Except that I pretty much *am* because I just made two weeks worth of frozen dinners yesterday and then a birth ball cover which I hadn't even thought about making until last night and then I just *had* to have one.

I'm just going to send all my real labor vibes over to you!

That is such a good book.

That is how my first labor was. I didn't think I was in labor until my water broke... and was already at 7!

Then with DS my contractions were soooo painful and his water didn't break until I was pushing him out.

So I'm guessing this one will be a mix of both.

Contractions that I don't really feel or think are real, and my water not breaking until she is almost out I'll be sitting there and then... BAM ... a baby!
