I'm hoping someone can shed some light on this for me. I'm a little concerned...
My mom recently told me that she has "half a uterus." (hello, TMI!) And hence that conceiving myself and my sister was a miracle. I asked her, do you mean a bicornate uterus? She said no, just half of what a woman normally has.
Does this exist? What is she talking about? Assuming she never went through diagnostic procedures for IF or other issues (such as an HSG etc., which I know she did not), how would this even be diagnosed?
Both of her pregnancies were normal, non-complicated, full term.
(not to be completely cynical but part of me wonders if this is bogus reasoning for a C-sec or something from a Dr. Her last child - my sis - was born via C-sec).
I'd appreciate any information, thanks.

She was post dates but VERY small, probably because she didn't have much room to grow.
