Question about withholdings on W-4

We have yet to change the withholdings on DH's W-4 at work. I think he used to only claim a 1. Now that we are married and have a daughter he can claim a 6. Right now they keep about $500 a pay check. About how much money do you think we would pay now?

When we had our first baby we were told to claim 6 and when we did our taxes this year we still got a small refund back.
