Help! They want me to have a C/S! - Page 3

Oh NO! I thought for sure I would be reading your birth story today! COME ON BABY!!!!! I hope a good walk and whatever your doula can do will help. Maybe if she can get the baby to turn, his head will put more pressure on your cervix and you'll start to dilate?? Good luck and keep us updated!

Have you tried slippery elm lozenges for the heartburn? They work great for me!

Oh, sorry about the heartburn and no sleep. I know (almost) exactly how you feel - except for the not-going-into-labor part.

It's great that you're resting up. Do you have a birth ball to lean over? I love my birth ball, it's always been great for my hips. And my babies seem to like facing my back so maybe it will help your baby get in a more favorable position. But hey, even if your babe *is* posterior - you will still do this! Keep resting up, and do whatever feels most comfortable. And hooray for having a doula, just stay home with her as long as possible, forget those folks at the hospital that are going to put a lot of stress into your birthing space. You can have a baby anywhere so don't get nervous about going in before you are ready!

How are you doin' today, mama?

For heart burn.. ugh.

If you haven't already, I would highly suggest drinking about a shot's worth of pickle juice. No joke. If that doesn't work, after settling for about 15 minutes and possibly brushing your teeth! I might try moving onto Milk. Soy also works great!

Hopefully that will give your heartburn a swift kick in the pants!

Come oooon baby!!! : :
