if suppressing, ~how long until 1st pp period?

I just lost my baby @ 22.5 weeks & my milk has come & gone. I never had a pp period after dd (found out I was pg when she was 14 mos & was still bf'ing). She has weaned & I'm anxious to start cycling. I'm so enmeshed in the bf'ing community, I can't remember a rough guide for when a woman might get her first pp period if suppressing!

Thanks!

I'm so sorry for your loss.

Many women start their cycle again immediately (AF after 4 weeks). If you've ever used hormonal birth control methods, the way your body reacted after discontinuing use may give you an idea how long your body takes to respond.

ETA: Not a b.p., but I couldn't read your post without leaving a response.

From what I have seen, about an average of 4-6 weeks. I am so sorry for your loss, mama.
