I knew I felt him drop!

Saturday, while peeing in the shower, I guess the pressure of standing up and letting go let the baby come down alot!
I swore to hubby I felt him drop.
I always thought it would be a very subtle thing and I wouldn't necessarily be able to feel it, but I did!
I said, it felt like someone dropped a pool ball into my vagina.
Not that I have any idea what that feels like, but it's the best way I can describe it.
Afterwards, I felt alot more pressure in my lower belly, more pulling. I also have to pee alot more often, even though not a whole lot's coming out and I swear, my bellybutton looks different. I used to be able to see the whole thing and now I can only see the top of my piercing.
Anyway. I had a midwifes appointment yesterday and asked her to check me because I feel alot different than last week. Last week I skipped the internal but they did tell me his head felt low, although it was still "floating".
Well, yesterday, they say his head is in the pelvis and I'm 70% effaced!
I'm so glad to hear I'm progressing! ANy day now!!! (I know realisticly it can take a while before going into labor once effacement and dilation starts- just let me keep thinking positive thoughts that this will be happening very soon)
This is so exciting!!!
Anyone else feel baby drop like this?

P.S. I'm a first timer and "due" on Monday- if you were curious

So, who else is gonna pee in the shower today???

I hope it comes soon for you!!! I dropped at 35w 4d...I'm still sitting here at 38 weeks. You are much closer to your due date, though, AND considering it's your first, it probably means you'll go soon. I never dropped with my first until I was in labor!

As far as peeing in the shower, I'll give it a try!

Yay for dropping! Hey, progress is progress!

As for peeing in the shower, every single time my bladder hears that water falling around me I have to pee and usually end up just doing it. Hasn't worked for me so far!

Hm, no billiard balls in the va-jay-jay here...

I think baby is dropping gradually here, when I stand up I can tell it's lower because of the new pressure, but there was no "eureka!" moment. Yet...

I peed in the shower the other day. The thing is, the water was backed up a bit...

Hope it does the trick for you all!

I always pee in the shower because even if I *just* went the warm water just gets me every time. Oh well. My baby has been shifting down slowly. I think just barely faster than it is growing upwards. So there's still plenty of heartburn and now plenty of peeing. But no billiards in the birth canal.

Yay for progress! And, you know, 70% effaced is pretty darn good. I bet you're getting close.
