Saturday, while peeing in the shower, I guess the pressure of standing up and letting go let the baby come down alot!
I swore to hubby I felt him drop.
I always thought it would be a very subtle thing and I wouldn't necessarily be able to feel it, but I did!
I said, it felt like someone dropped a pool ball into my vagina.
Not that I have any idea what that feels like, but it's the best way I can describe it.
Afterwards, I felt alot more pressure in my lower belly, more pulling. I also have to pee alot more often, even though not a whole lot's coming out
and I swear, my bellybutton looks different. I used to be able to see the whole thing and now I can only see the top of my piercing.
Anyway. I had a midwifes appointment yesterday and asked her to check me because I feel alot different than last week. Last week I skipped the internal but they did tell me his head felt low, although it was still "floating".
Well, yesterday, they say his head is in the pelvis and I'm 70% effaced!
I'm so glad to hear I'm progressing! ANy day now!!!
(I know realisticly it can take a while before going into labor once effacement and dilation starts- just let me keep thinking positive thoughts that this will be happening very soon)
This is so exciting!!!
Anyone else feel baby drop like this?
P.S. I'm a first timer and "due" on Monday- if you were curious
