Ok, that might be my kids you see with a soda. However, I'm not yelling at them and they are not climbing booths. They might, however, turn around and talk to the person behind them. Basically, the only time my kids get soda is when we go out to eat and that is not often. So it's like a mega treat for them.

Here's a fun one. Anyone ever have cold sores while pg and take L-Lysine? Um, not that I have cold sores or anything.
I am plagued by cold sores. I will actually use my prescribtion of Zovirax and/or use tea tree oil directly on the cold sore.

I am so dizzy this evening. I mean really dizzy.

Lol. Mine are sometimes allowed one small (kid sized) soda or lemonade when we go out, to eat but absolutely not caffienated. They usually last ok through the restaurant but lose it in the car and at home lol.

Mine get the choice of Sprite, root beer (no caffiene kind), lemonade, and sometimes flavored ice tea.

Shhh, I'm sipping a coke right now. I'm really green today and it seems to help.

I'm so so so so ready for the yuckness to end.

I'm popping in.Being lazy today,ds is NAKing to sleep, so I have a good excuse to hang out here!
Definately pukey-or rather dry-heave-y.Eating every 2 hours, full after 6 bites, craving random things that seem putrid in seconds...my nipples are not as sensitive now, though!I was litterally waiting for a plugged duct or mastitis to show up it was so painful for a few days.Thank goodness neither showed up!
The house is in ruins, and the yard is in bad shape too-dh does nothing in the yard....I had delusions of gradeur about getting outside to water and prune the grapes, lilacs, and raspberries..not happening.I may only go as far as making lunch.bleah.
I'm stuck in the fake-it-to-make-it phase, and I'm just so tired...I gotta turn this boat around!

I am going to have to bite the bullet soon. The pants with the rubber band are only going to work for so long. The pressure around my waist is really bugging me.

And I am so ready to be able to eat again! To have something sound good and taste good, and not have to force it down! Blah. Eating is a chore.

Speaking of which, I need to go eat something before all my violin students show up.

It was 80 degrees on Sunday at my house. Today, there is a snowstorm. C'mon Spring!

(We did say this was a random chat thread, right?

Here's what's on MY mind...

I am supposed to be getting set up to write reports for a PI company from home. Only I REALLLLLLLLLY DO NOT WANT TO DO IT. The money is good and we could use it. But the idea of trying to figure out how to keep my DD away from me so I can work 25hours/week? Not appealing. I don't want to be shoving her away all day! Anyway, I was filling out paperwork for the company and crying and crying. I am hoping they only need a LITTLE bit of work from me - but it sounds like a workaholic company

We're having similar kind of weather in Colorado.
Actually, though, i missed most of it because I was in Tucson yesterday for my first trip away from home for work without dd since she was born. It wasn't as bad as I thought. I pumped with the hand pump three times in the 30 hours I was away and got less than an oz each time. Oh well. She went right back to nursing no problem upon my return and dh said it wasn't too bad. She didn't sleep through the night as I had hoped though (I was thinking we could start a trend without the milk bar being open all night).
I worked 11 hours yesterday while away and slept like crap at the hotel, so I am completely zonkered today. It sucks because after me being away for a while, dh expects me to now run around and chase after dd, but I just can't do anything but sit here on the couch. This typing is actually a stretch. Maybe I should just go to bed. Okay, I'm going to bed.
P.S. Airplane travel and nausea do not mix!

my twin girls are sick with something and we're going on day 2 of fever/achy/head pounding/sore throats. We usually just do comfort things and let the fever do it's job but they are really uncomfortable. Taking care of these sick kids when I just want to lay on the couch and get thru the green green day is .....crappy, but I do feel some extra nurturing feelings going on so that helps. any suggestions, ideas of what helps your lo's feel better would be great, Im out of things to do.

Hi mamas! I figured it was time I ventured over and joined a ddc!! I'm due Nov. 4, and am REALLLY sick. I'm 11 weeks, and am hoping this pg is better than the last (I was sick for 20!) In an effort to get excited about being pg and not so focused on how crappy I feel, I'm here!! Hi mamas! I'm excited to get to know you all!

I'm not so experienced with 8yos, but maybe a cool bath would help relieve some of their uncomfortableness. Maybe put some rose petals or something else fancy in there to make them feel special? If they are eating okay, maybe a special food or drink to help relieve their throats?
I really feel for you when you are feeling bad, too. Hope everyone gets well soon

I think we may be on the mend. For the first time in 2 days the fever has broke....for one of the girls at least. Last night sleeping arrangements were hysterical. DH w/1 fever girl in sons bed, son on couch (he thinks this is a treat), and mama in bed w/other fever girl & 3 yo. "Oh What A Night"!

We are having CRAZY spring weather here too in WA. It has been snowing (which my 11 yo says his lil' sis WINTER is bringing ~ he say's she controls the snow....due to her name!) Last Sat was the only nice day we have had out of spring, it was 78, then the next day it was 40. come on Spring!

I love that about Winter!I have a dd who was born on Halloween, so it IS Halloween BECAUSE it's her birthday!lol
