Is this normal??

My feet are swollen beyond belief. Nurses insisted it's water retention, but they are really really really swollen and I'm starting to worry.

Mine did that after the epidural. I think it took almost a week for them to go down. I think the drugs in the epi cause water retention.

Mine did that too. No swelling during the pregnancy but dinosaur feet after.

Hey, be glad it's BOTH of them... after my son was born, my left leg/foot doubled in size, the other was the same as before birth!

Mine do that as well after giving birth, but return back to normal after several days. Two of my births have been completely drug free, and it still happens. :

That is really normal after an induction. I felt like a bloated whale when I was induced with my first baby. I remember literally soaking the bed with sweat in the first day or so after she was born from all the fluid retention. They gave a bunch of fluids I'm sure and combined with the epi and not moving around...you get really bad swelling. Hope it goes away soon for you!
