anybody else nesting?

my nesting instincts finally kicked in. today, i spent forever cleaning the mattress. had to get all of the dust mites and breastfeeding stains off of it. although, it's just going to get stained up again since this baby and our 2-year old ds will be co-sleeping with us. at least it's clean for now. i also cleaned the trash cans, not sure why.
hopefully, all the cleaning will bring on this boy!

I kinda got into it today too! DH got home from work and all of a sudden I was vacuuming, cleaning the bathroom and recruiting him and the kids to help. We got the entire top level of the house neat and clean and now all I have to do is some spot cleaning downstairs and we are set!

I don't know if it was nesting or just my weekly "I can't stand the mess anymore." I vacuumed, washed mirrors and a few windows, cleaned the bathrooms and the kitchen. Not any deep cleaning, but it was at least something!!!

Yeah, every time I think I'm getting the intense nesting thing going, it turns out it's just that I'm tired of the mess and disorganization. Last night I got our birth pool folded up and put somewhere handy where we can get it out asap. I also put the hose and adapter next to it. I folded all the towels and stashed them in my room next to the washable pads. I organized the baby clothes into boxes based on gender. so I can jut pick a box or two instead of having to sort and pack up some clothes after the baby gets here. I keep thinking I feel it, but it seems to be false nesting brought on by living in an incredibly disorganized house.

There is a ton of stuff I WANT to do but I either a) can't do it myself or b) can't do it because I am staying with my parents... blech.

I scrubbed one of the bathrooms earlier this week, made a list of what to pack for dd when she stays with MIL during the birth, and sorted thru baby clothes/toys.

The painting project is still looming over everything else in the house right now. I've been working about an hour or two a day on it this week. We're going to finish it tomorrow. I can't wait to get the kids' closet back together!

I am definitely craving more order in the house.
