Hi! I had a HBAC with my twins. If your friend's past incision is lower transverse, her twins have two placentas, and her baby A is vertex (head-down), she might be a good candidate for VBAC! If she can find a midwife with experience attending twin births, and plan to give birth close to a major hospital, she's a good candidate for HBAC.

Here's some of the research that helped me decide to have my twin HBAC:

And my birth video is in my siggy. Feel free to have her contact me if she has any more questions!

I had a HBAC with my first set of twins. They shared a placenta. I did a lot of research on the safety of VBACs with twins and came to the conclusion that a HBAC would be safe for me. I've also attended a twin HBAC where the babies were born over 12 hours apart.

I'm expecting twins again (sharing a placenta again too) and am hoping to have another HBAC although there are other factors that may rule that out this time.

If the babies are in separate amniotic sacs and the placenta is in a good position, HBAC should be an option. Now finding a midwife may be a problem in some areas...
