My upper quadrant feels really bruised, hurts a lot. Anyone else?

This morning i think the baby's foot got stuck in my rib cage or something. well anyways, it feels really bruised in my upper left quadrant now..hurts a lot, not unbearable but sore and irritating. Is this what it is, a bruise of sorts? I seem to remember this happening with DS but maybe not.

Anyone else experience this?

I have been getting bruises up by my ribs that you can see from the outside... definitely not fun!!!

Yes -- on my right upper side, right where his little butt (or so my midwife says) is sticking out. I've had it for a few weeks now -- kind of a bruised, stretchy feeling. Midwife says it's normal, but it's definitely starting to get annoying!

Same here - seems like I've had it forever though. Upper right side, sometimes feels bruised, occasionally feels like a pulled muscle.
The only thing that helps is a warm bath, and a chiro.

It's good knowing other people have this going on too... lately I can totally feel his little butt and knees too!! Very weird...

My little one had a foot up in my ribcage yesterday : I kept trying to lean the other way and poke at it so he/she would move the foot. I think my baby has seriously run out of room! I can feel movement all the way from my ribcage down to my pubic bone!

I have a foot in my ribcage too- probably keeps happening to me because baby is posterior so the legs are both facing out. I keep trying to lie or lean on the really stuck foot in my ribs, but I'm also telling her (him) that if she's so out of room, she might as well come out!
