Hey everyone. I know I went on and on about how I was going to hold out until May, but it looks like this baby has other plans. I was out shopping this morning, felt crummy, went to the bathroom and saw I've got bloody show. Lots of it. Baby dropped two nights ago, I was crampy yesterday and restless last night. I also had a huge dinner last night.
Sooo, timing contractions, they look about every 4-5 minutes, 40+ seconds long. I totally freaked out when I first saw the show but have since calmed down. I'm 37 weeks today. I should be okay. Dh and I packed up the car, got all our bags together, rented a hotel room so I can birth away from MIL, but we're right next to the hospital if we need to transfer.
It'll probably be in the next day or so that I'll be seeing this baby. I'm really sorry about the birth announcement thread but already I barely feel up to posting. Can you ladies do me a big favor with that? If you see a thread on the main page announcing a birth, can you paste a link to it in the body of the birth announcement thread so that I don't miss any? And then I'll update it when I get the chance. I'm afraid they might drop off the first page and I'd miss it. Thank you so much!
I'll post again if it turns out this was a false alarm but last time I didn't get bloody show until I was at the hospital and about 6 cm. Hope to update relatively soon!
