Question about RRL tea during labor...

Somebody asked this question but i can't find it (willemsmama?)...and i resurrected the RRL page from this DDC but i don't know who would see it cuz i'm looking for answers from you that know and mamas that have birthed. So here's a new thread.

1 ounce to a pint...that's 25 grams to my large french press. That's a lot of tea! Usually my 25 grams lasts me almost a week...

(still drinking 3 cups a day since this thread was started! )

So did anyone do this when labor was active? I want it to steep but then be hot as possible like the directions say...so did you heat it up when you were ready for it?

Directions are: "On one ounce of raspberry leaves pour one pint of boiling water, cover and let steep for 30 minutes. Strain, and when the time for delivery is approaching drink the whole as hot as possible."

Here is the HUGE thread from the RRL Tribe.

You want it really really strong, so yes, one oz of leaves to one pint of water (two cups).

I guess you would have to reheat it unless you have something that keeps it insulated while it steeps.
