Wishful thinking, I know

But what do you all think of these signs??

1) I felt my cervix for the first time today in months...it has been extremely high and posterior. I am still dilated about 2 cm (which I was at 35.5 weeks when midwife checked me and baby is resting her head on my pubic bone).

2) My pubic bone has been hurting really bad today. Even though she has been this low for weeks, it hasn't hurt like this.

3) I have been having a decent amount of contractions all day. I usually only feel a few a day and I've probably had at least 15 or more that we really noticeable, but didn't 'hurt'.

4) I'm extra moody the past few days.

5) I have been nauseous on and off for the past three days.

This totally silly to be analyzing these things because most likely it means absolutely nothing. She will come when she does. I was right on time with my last, but I guess I was just really hoping she could come on a weekend when dh was in town. Thanks for humoring me!!

Sounds like how I felt for a few weeks.

I hope things work out for you and you get to have your dh home when you go into labor.

Now the contractions are about 5-7 minutes apart and lasting about a minute. I still don't believe this is it, but at least it's something!

Well, they kept up for awhile last night and I decided to go to bed. A few times they woke me up, but then I woke up this morning. Oh well. I guess my body was doing a 'run through'!

At least your body is doing something

Hope they turn into something soon for you!

I hope it happens soon for you! I'm over-analyzing everything too. Two days ago, I got ridiculously tired and hungry and started having *tons* of strong BH cx, and decided that those are all signs of impending labor. Nevermind that nothing's happened since then, I'm convinced that my body is preparing for the birth and that it's imminent -- that's my story and I'm sticking to it! I figure eventually I'll be right, even if it's not for another 2-3 weeks!

I'm in the same boat. I keep having warm up runs and then *nothing*. What's worse is everyone seems to think that they can express an opinion on when I'm "allowed to pop." My MIL in particular has been grilling me on contractions, strength/length of them, frequency, etc. I'm supposed to "drop" tomorrow so she can have a day off work. I KNOW that she's excited but ffs, I feel like the proverbial watched pot. I'm about to tell her that if she's that into that sort of thing that they're doing wonders with modern reproductive medicine (I won't, though, she's been really great about helping us out with Bear and other stuff, it's just in my cranky moments).
