37 Week Fiesta!

Today marks 37 weeks for the twinners and I!

I am so excited! I've worked really hard to do what I could to keep these babies cooking - quit working way earlier than my original plan, stuffed endless amounts of protein down my once-vegetarian throat, listened to my body when it told me to rest or drink more water, blocked out negative comments of preterm labor from people, and, well, all the other stuff you mamas know about! I'm so relieved that 37 week old twins most likely means no NICU stay and that we will be able to try for a home birth. There are still days/weeks ahead, and labor, and birth... but I need to celebrate this milestone!

you sound like a momma who is going to be able take on whatever challenges having TWINS will bring!

What wonderful news! You are doing such an awesome job gestating those babies and I'm sure you will do great dealing with the challenges of raising twins too

Congratulations!!! I'm very happy for you, especially since you can now try for a homebirth. You and your babies will be so much safer against common interventions for twin births now! That's awesome!

It helps me be a little grounded as I am nearing 39 weeks and hoping the baby had come yesterday.
