I'm having some horrible thoughts. Maybe I could go up to a cabin in the woods and stay until baby is here? Maybe I should just skip it and not show up? Maybe I could fly to Hawaii and have the baby on the beach? No I can't baby needs to come, for my health more than anything. Sigh. I need some positive vibes on this girls ( I know al about the evils of induction, this needs to be done) I need to get some vibes and change my thinking to being open, receptive, and positive about this. Help me visualize this going well and my labor starting with the cervadil only.

I can understand your feelings as I've had an induction before. Really they are there for reasons like yours. You have every right to feel the way you do but there is no judgment even from a very anti-induction mama like me. You need to keep yourself and your baby healthy and this sounds like the best way to do it. I'll be sending you lots of vibes that labor starts on its own with the cervadil. Your body sounds very ready and maybe the accupuncture has gotten things going a little bit already.

OMG you guys thank you, you make me feel so much better. I know this is the right thing, even though its not my dream birth, the ends justify the means, and my BP is up really high today, so it solidifies the need.
