Sigh, no baby. Just got released for the hospital after 40 hours of a failed induction.

I know. I kinda felt he wasn't quite ready in my heart. Its just so hard coming home and seeing and hearing all those new baby's. I will say my hospital was wonderful though.

I'll say they were, if they let you go home after trying to induce you! Most would practically force a c-section at that point, wouldn't they?

I'm sorry it didn't take :-/ but I'm sure your body has its reasons.

I'm sorry the induction didn't work out out, but it sounds like you have a great hospital. I hope your little one decides to come soon.

Yeah my midwife is awesome. She said no C sections unless baby is in trouble, which he's still doing ok right now thank goodness. I was allowed to have 15 minutes on and 15 minutes off the monitors to walk. I could bounce on the birth ball or be out of bed all I liked and they let me take breaks for baths in the Jacuzzi tub which is unheard of for a pitocin induction. We started with overnight cervidil, which did nothing and then two rounds of pitocin which got me to dilate to a 2 with 50% effacement, so I'm just not ready to go... I do need to be induced for health though, so I have appointments with the chiro and acupuncturist today and I'm going to do lots of walking and squatting.
