Yeah my midwife is awesome. She said no C sections unless baby is in trouble, which he's still doing ok right now thank goodness. I was allowed to have 15 minutes on and 15 minutes off the monitors to walk. I could bounce on the birth ball or be out of bed all I liked and they let me take breaks for baths in the Jacuzzi tub which is unheard of for a pitocin induction. We started with overnight cervidil, which did nothing and then two rounds of pitocin which got me to dilate to a 2 with 50% effacement, so I'm just not ready to go... I do need to be induced for health though, so I have appointments with the chiro and acupuncturist today and I'm going to do lots of walking and squatting.
