slightly slubby wool for a soaker?

As long as I can make gauge and have it tight enough it will work fine right? It is jut a little more (ok a lot more) slubby than I originally thought- but it is beautiful stuff- I should post a pick.

I made River a pair of longies from a slubby single ply and they worked well. I used a fairly tight gauge though...

My gauge sample is kind of interesting. I don't know- perhaps it is just that the slubs are evenly spaced and happen in the same spot on my swatch. I might just try it out. It will be either awesome or get frogged. Either way.
