cascade 220 superwash--machine washable--edited YES!

anyone with any experience with this? I finally decided to go with this yarn for some pullovers for my daughters for next fall/winter....bought it on sale through WEBS which states in the description that it is machine wash. The ball band, though, says hand wash, lie flat.

I really wanted something that I could toss in the wash frequently, as they are always playing outside and love to throw on a sweater when they do. If you've used this yarn, what has been your experience with washing it?

Thanks!!

Are you sure you got 220 superwash and not regular 220? Is it in a ball or in a hank? I think the superwash comes in a ball and 220 comes in a hank.

yeah, I thought that too--especially since I'd never used cascade 220 either. but it is definitely superwash and it is in a ball. wierd. all the bands say it, too--I bought several colors.

guess I'll just make a swatch and wash it before I make the sweaters! I noticed on Ravelry that someone else wondered the same thing.

so I emailed Cascade and it was a mishap with the labels. It is machine washable. Phew!

Knit on!
