Appointment with midwife today

I made my first appointment today, I'm only 5 weeks, but I want to interview her about homebirth. She actually delivered ds at her birthcenter but that was awhile ago. There is another homebirth midwife that I have not talked to yet so I want to interview her as well and then make my decision. Actually, the main reason I'm going in today was because I wanted to ask her about progesterone and if I should be on it. Or if it's too late to start or what have you. Anyway, just thought I'd share! Anyone else get an early start?

I go in to meet with the midwife's nurse on Friday. Since I had to switch midwives I need to do this first appointment to ensure that the practice and I get along

I'm really not prepared with questions, I suppose I should figure some out before I go but since I did have her before I kinda know her style and such. I'm like you, I usually just go with my gut, see how we get along.

I haven't talked to my midwife yet about my pregnancy ( I see her pretty regularly) but probably won't go in until the usual 8-10 weeks as there isn't a need at this point. If MS gets bad then I'll go in to talk to her about my options.

I have talked to my midwives because of the progesterone but will not go for my first appointment until about 12 weeks.
