Being induced today

Thread Starter
I am going in for induction tonight. I am a little scared and upset, but trying to get to the acceptance stage. I have another acupuncture appt this afternoon at 5pm, then go in at 7pm to start some sort of proglastin on a string thing. I am nervous! My husband is happy that I agreed to the induction (and I think I partly did b/c they were really trying to push the c-section) but after a week and a half of DTD, acupuncture, and other get labor going tactics nothing is working.

Please please please send good induction and labor vibes and calm down, stop crying mama to be vibes.

I need them!

Oh honey, I wish I could just hug you!

You are going to be okay, mama. Everything is going to be well.

Is there any way they can give you the proglastin then send you home? And if contractions don't start to come in X many hours for another dose?

It's okay to be upset, and it's okay to cry! Its a hard thing to let go of the birth, and you deserve to be able to mourn the birth you wanted. Let it all out, take a nice hot shower, and either way, know there are a lot of ladies who are thinking about you, and wishing you the best.

Easy labor and calming birthing vibes to you. : : :

I hope it goes well. I agree that it is okay to mourn the birth you had wanted. Things could still go very well and you could have a wonderful birth at the hospital. Easy labor vibes to you!

it took me two years to grieve the birth i had wanted (had e-cs), b/c i had no idea what i was getting into.

i think it is really healthy to cry and grieve some before the baby is born...b/c being aware of it is half the battle (no surprise factor). So and i really hope that when you gaze into your LO's eyes all else will vanish and you can just focus and enjoy him/her!

Peace mama.
