Update..
hopefully the roller coaster is over. We have been told that he wouldnt live, then that he would. He had 2 really good days, starting to come off sedation, then just went downhill. As a lst resort the drs asked to let them cut a piece of his skull out so that his brain be allowed more room to swell. His brain has been swelling and the pressure increasing which causes more brain damage. so in order to keep the pressure down we let them take out a piece of his skull. then he only got worse. they couldnt keep the pressure down, and there was nothing they could do but wait. about 11:45 last night the head nurse came out to the waithing room woke up my family and told them "If you have a God, now is the time to start praying. If he gets any worse, or fails to get better, this could very well be it."by midnight his brain pressure was starting to decline. all morning it declined and so far he has stayed stable. it looks like he finally turned that corner, but he waited until the LAST SECOND to do so! We can only hope that he continues to have good stats so they can start taking him off the sedation. It will be then that he will have to show us what he can do.
thanks for all your prayers andwell wishes. ill try to keep you updated.

Still thinking of you and your family.
What wonderful news. Continued healing thoughts to him.
