I repaired them myself! FB elastic

I've never thought of myself as a seamstress because I am lacking precision so for a while I was looking for somebody to replace the elastics in my worn out Fuzzi Bunz for me. Didn't find anybody so I went to work myself!
I replaced the old elastics with 3/8" Lastin and they are gathering up so nicely now! I really loved how it turned out.
On the downside though I think my 2 year-long love for Fuzzi Bunz has ended.
Taking them apart and being so critical of my own sewing I have to say most of them seem to be sewn together sort of asymmetrical with not much care.
I could have done that much!
In fact if it wasn't for snaps I probably would be tempted to start sewing pockets myself. I feel like I already mastered the tough part.
I am so excited. I always figured you had to be really patient and skilled but I CAN SEW! (or at least replace shot elastic... )

Thats great! I just started playing with my sewing machine for the first time. So far I've only hemmed a onesie but I plan on replacing the elastic in one of my fuzzi's too.
