hello. i am new to the charting world having just started this week.....we will be ttc in july probably......i am taking my temp every morning, problem is i wake up with dd at a completely different time everyday - sometimes she wakes up to nurse at 5, then back to sleep till 8 - other times she is up at 7.......it is always different - is this going to be a problem?? and if she gets up at 5 to nurse, then back to sleep till 8 - which time do i take my temp??? tia!!

I wouldn't get too hung up on what time you're taking it.... Usually what matters more is how long you've slept before taking your temp (recommended for best results is at least 3 hours).

so - should i do it then the first time she wakes up? since that is usually the longest stretch?

Waking up to nurse should not cause a problem with your temps, just record it whenever your comfortable with it. People get too caught up on the "3 hour rule", just pick one, about 5 or about 8 and also whether you take it at 7 or 8 won't matter, as long as its "about" the same time.
