Typical TF breakfasts?

So what do you typically have for breakfast? I'm trying to find things DH will like... okay, yes, he's easy to please but we don't have a lot of time in the mornings before he departs for work. Weekends we do eggs and bacon, and sometimes I'll do that during the week, depending upon the time available.
He doesn't really dig yogurt. He honestly loves cereal so I was thinking - granola? Is this an option? He's not a big fruit freak either (that would be me, on the other hand). TF bread with yummy butter? What do you have at breakfast that's quick and easy to put together yet satiating and energizing as well?

TIA!

How about hard boiled eggs? That way you could make them ahead of time and just pull them from the fridge in the morning. Maybe with a little cheese and a glass of milk? Sounds good to me!

There are soaked granola recipes out there...

There's one in Living, Loving, and Cooking with My Daughter.

We do scrambled eggs a lot. Whip them in a bowl and fry them up really quick with lots of butter of course! Cheese sliced, tomatoes on the side. Organic ketchup... sourdough toasted with butter.mmmmm yummy

Oh would some sort of egg bake do? You could do it in muffin tins for individual sizes...

Mmm.
We do homemade granola bars, toast with nut butter, corn tortilla with scrambled egg and cheese.
When we have rice for supper I always make a bunch extra and heat it up for breakfast the next morning with butter/coconut oil and milk/cream/coconut milk, and everyone adds fresh or dried fruit, seeds, honey, dried coconut.
Oatmeal of course, and cornmeal mush.
Smoothies- good for getting yogurt and fruit in. We're partial to peanutbutter-frozen banana around here.

I make alot of breakfast stuff on the weekends that we can dip into during the week.

waffles
french toast
breakfast casserole for dinner that I add scrambled eggs to and wrap in a tortilla, they just have to be heated
baked oatmeal
leftover fritattas or anytime we have breakfast for dinner, the leftovers get turned into quick breakfasts

DH gets up at 5 am and is out the door shortly thereafter. I was forgetting to eat breakfast due to being busy with DS. So I started making us both smoothies the night before and putting them in the fridge. We each grab ours in the morning and we're set for breakfast. Here's our current smoothie recipe:

Fruit (berries, bananas, etc.)
2-3 c. Kefir, yogurt, raw milk (some mixture depending on what we have)
1/4+ c. Coconut milk/cream
Small amount of stevia
1-2 raw eggs (only in my smoothie, I add them in the morning right before I drink it--takes maybe 2 minutes)

I've also found making muffins make a good 'grab and go' breakfast as does slices of raw cheddar cheese and a handful of crispy walnuts. I occasionally make a big batch of pancakes (use the recipe from NT) and freeze them w/waxed paper in between so they can be snapped apart and thrown in the toaster for a quick breakfast.

I made a granola-type cereal that doesn't contain oats. The ingredients are:

sprouted almonds, coarsely chopped
sprouted sunflower seeds, coarsely chopped
unsweetened dried coconut
dried dates
cinnamon
coconut oil
honey
salt

Put the coconut and dates in the food processor together and you can get the dates finely ground. (Without the dried coconut, the dates just stick together and you can only get them chopped into chunks.)

Melt the coconut oil and stir it in.

Depending on the amount of dates you use, you might decide to skip the honey.

Mix everything together and it looks a lot like granola cereal. Great in a bowl with raw milk. Or you could try adding some almond butter and making it into balls for a quick energy snack.
