note to self: don't knit when sleepy. you will screw it up.

I'm knitting this little hat, and was very sleepy last night trying to finish it, and screwed up the decreases.

I always do that when I try to knit and post at the same time.

Also, don't knit when you are sick. I thought I would take advantage of both my kids actually napping today, and at the same time, to finish off the last 5 inches of a sleeve on a baby sweater. It's only 22 stitches accross, it should have taken NO TIME AT ALL, but I kept getting distracted and doing the wrong stitch. I took out more rows than I got done! It was soothing, at least.

Yup. I did the raglan section on a sweater for DS3 last night. Great. Pretty. Apart, that is, from the fact that I forgot one set of increases and so I had to frog.
It looks amazing, though. Handspun

Oh man, I can so relate.

Unfortunately, that's how many of my projects end up as UFOs. I make some big, dumb mistake and then I toss the whole project aside in frustration and never get back to it.

Yea, and aside from all that, it's really irritating to fall asleep between stitches, then poke yourself in the hand when you jerk awake again!
