acerola powder vs. goji berries vs. sodium ascorbate

I am currently taking 1,000 mg of sodium ascorbate in lieu of antihistamines to suppress my allergy symptoms. I used to need 10+ grams (10,000 mg) daily to lessen the symptoms, but now I do very well (better than with the antihistamines I took for 15 years) with just 1,000 mg SA per day.

However, I see that some people prefer acerola powder or Goji berries as more natural forms of vitamin C, and I am wondering if anyone has good information about which is the healthiest. I typically lean towards using whole foods to get nutrients, rather than supplements, so the Goji berries sound good (pricey, though). Any thoughts?

I've been wondering this very question for a couple of years now & keep forgetting to ask it.

Goji berries are out of my budget, but I can probably swing acerola powder, plus, it already has the citrus bioflavinoids that sodium ascorbate doesn't. I think amla is another possibility...

We add acerola cherry powder to our morning kefir smoothies. It's cheap from Super Supplements.
