Does anyone else think that LuAnn looks suspiciously like Jackie on Workout (also on Bravo)?

Could Bravo be in a budget crunch and has resorted to sharing reality stars?

See I think Jill was just being obnoxious. If there was another gift or something special, clearly boyfriend wasn't announcing it right then. If there wasn't something else, she was making him look like a heel. Just stfu already.


The burger thing was just out of control. Yea, your kid speaks French bla bla bla but he has the table manners of a hyena. I'll take the table manners over French anyday. I mean, it was a $30 frickin' burger.

Does anyone else find the behaviour of these women disturbing? I would seriously wonder about my friends if they acted like any of these women (especially Ramona!!!) Bethany is very critical and Ramona is just repulsive. I must admit, however, DH and I find it strangely addictive.

absolutely disturbing! i would never have friends like this in my life, but i do enjoy watching the train wreck from my sofa.

I wonder if the assessment wasn't as positive as Alex would have wanted so that why we didn't see the results. It would seem to me that if it was a glowing report Alex and Simon would be sure to let us know.

I couldn't get over what a dump their home was. They are so pretentious but the home is falling apart. And what was so strange was their nonacknowledgement of the stripped floors and the general disrepair. Weird. And doesn't Alex sound like she's putting on some kind of ..I don't know..accent? Her pronunciation seems affected.

Ramona's daughter's comment at the very end of the hamburger dinner was funny. Didn't she say whisper to her mom "smile normally"?

I just watched the recap show. Oh wow.

Ramona, grade A nut.
Simon and Alex, we were misrepresented. Cast consesus? Nope. And I still say they are posers.
LuAnn, genuinely a good person.
Bethany, the most normal down to earth.
Jill, over the top but has a heart of gold.

I will still take the OC ladies all day long.

i'm the first to admit that alex (and simon) were my least favorite on the show. i did, however, feel bad for them on the reunion show. they were definitely attacked and pretty much had to spend the entire hour defending themselves. i do believe, however, that they are delusional. they emphatically stated how it was not their desire to become socialites right after watching footage of them saying otherwise. while it's true that all those reality shows are edited in a way to portray people in a certain way (and to make for the most drama -- therefore, higher ratings), you can't deny what you have stated on camera.

What I want to know is did Alex and Simon make money from the partially nude photos of Alex that they released?

WHY did Simon show up to the reunion? Their desire to be inseparable is odd. I didn't feel bad for them because they weren't the only ones singled out. I felt others were also called on things they did on camera.

Ramona needs a chill pill

Bethanny and Jill are my favorites. They're honest and they're themselves. They don't pretend to be something they're not.

Mine too. I liked them... probably Jill more than Bethanny...but liked them both.

Alex and Simon were sooo defensive. And it wasn't working.

Ramona is just plain weird.

OK... am I the only one who found the decor in Ramona and Jill's apartments a bit Donald Trump (aka tacky!)?

They said they didn't release them. I highly doubt it. Though it wouldn't get them in the "society pages" but it might get them on Perez.

Ramona was so obnoxious with her leaving the room while they talked about nude photos. Whatever. You walk around half dressed and talk about how sexy you are and you act like that because someone is talking about nude photos. Right, drama queen attention grabber. Bethany was nice to defend her, but the reality is she's a nut.

I don't even think it's Alex personally that she wants to dislike. I think she wants to have someone to snip at and Alex is the easy mark. Jill and Bethany wouldn't take it and the Countess is too refined to get into a snark fest with her. I can't believe I'm serial posting about this. I'm such a loser :LOL

Ramona seriously seems unstable. I can't imagine being around her...."high energy" is an understatement. She really seemed to be spilling all over the place.

I do love Bethenny and Jill. They seem genuine to me. I loved how Bethenny talked about owning what she did and her "go big or go home" comment....it's a reality TV show and they all acted nuts at times.

Did anyone else catch how Luann totally side stepped her nanny's comment about her spending more time with her kids. She said something like, "I think Rosie was talking about my husband, not me". And smiled like a Countess and moved on...it was interesting. I always felt bad for her son, he seemed to want to be with her and she was always saying he was clingy.

I wonder if they are doing another season?

yeah, i was sure luann was going to say that rosie was fired. tee hee. her daughter is going off to boarding school and her son is left home while mommy fulfills her social calendar obligations. luann prides her self on having class, but i kinda just wish she'd spend more time with the kids. as nuts as the other ladies are, they do seem a little more involved with their kids (they spend time with them, they have conversations with them).

i'm sure there'll be another season. this season apparently did pretty well. wonder if simon and alex will participate again.

OK,so I caught a rerun of the recap show, you know, the one where Francois mauls the million dollar hamburger of another guest? Appalling. Simply appalling. Does anyone else find these people horribly dysfunctional????

Yea. I just caught that one myself. I couldn't believe it. Then someone asked Simon if he let the kids play with food and he was like "Yes of course" or something like that... which is worse! Obvioulsy a kid might do something like that but to just let him? Uh uh. : I mean I'm all for gentle parenting but c'mon!
The reunion show was disturbing too. Ramona is a total train wreck. She has to leave the room because Alex had nude pics? Lol ok! And Alex and Simon are beyond ridiculous. Bethenny and Jill are hilarious.
