If the colors were more my liking (though the neutrals are nice) I would totally try this out!

I was just gifted some Flat Feet the other day. I'm not an experienced sock knitter, so I think I'll let it sit in the stash for a bit while I work on other socks. It looks fun and I'm interested in the idea though!

Oh- I suddenly thought- I'm going on a cruise in a couple of months- maybe that would be a good time to break this out?

Then I wouldn't have to worry about my yarn taking up a bunch of room... I'd already thought that maybe socks would be a good idea for "cruise knitting"...

I have some of their soysilk lace yarn and have been wanting the flat feet to test it out but no one around here carries it. One LYS said they were having employees test knit with it but I haven't seen them carry it yet. IF I get some I'll give a review!

that is a neat idea! kind of like dyeing the sweater before you unravel it for the yarn. You can get some really neat effects that way.

They have these at my LYS. They are pretty interesting but I didn't buy one. Not having tangles would be really nice!

It's a neat idea; but wouldn't it be "kinky" and mess up guage?
