i've lost 1 lb since last week. could that be a good sign?

i think im just so annoyed with ppl telling me to be patient and that this babe will be late : why say such a thing?
ppl told me my dd would be late too and she was born at 39weeks 1 day.

It's possible. I lost two pounds the week DD was born. (I actually gained a pound or two the week DS was born, but I had strep throat and tend to retain fluid when I'm sick.)

I think weightloss or maintenance is pretty normal during the last few weeks. I don't know if it means you'll deliver *this* week, but it's comin' up

I think weight loss is normal in the last week or two of pregnancy. I lost for 2 weeks before DS was born. I also lost weight last week and am on track to lose some more this week. I think it means the end is near.
